Objective: To review the first eight cases of urethral stenosis managed by urethroplasty at the Calderón Guardia Hospital.
Material and Method: Revision of unicentric retrospective. Surgeries performed from November 2018 to April 2019. Preoperative, transoperative and postoperative variables were used.
Results: 8 patients with a mean age of 52 years. Four of them had traumatic etiology, 3 after endourological procedures and 1 due to lichen sclerosus. Waiting time for surgery was 4.5 years and average stenosis length 5.1cm. Various surgical techniques were used for the resolution of cases. Mean time of urethral catheter use was 6 weeks. One patient had leakage of contrast medium classified as grade I.
Conclusions: We review and present the reality of the patient to which we must treat with urethral stenosis.
