Presentation of Institutional Casuistry. Radical Prostatectomy in the Urology Service of the General Hospital for Common Diseases of the Guatemalan Institute of Social Security in the years 2011 to 2015.

Descriptive study about radical prostatectomy among patients diagnosed with prostate cancer in social security institute in Guatemala, in the period of 2011 – 2015. Patients were selected with systematic review of pathologic reports and electronic reports and clinical report of each cases. During the time of the study we documented 34 procedures. There was an early complication, hypovolemic shock, late complications reported urethral stenosis 45%, erectile dysfunction 23% and urinary incontinence 20%. Casuistic report shown in this cases where of high importance to conclude that this procedure is decreasing, due to multiple institutional factors.
