Liposarcomas represent only 2% of spermatic cord tumors. This being so, this case is extremely important since it is not frequent. Liposarcoma is the most common histological subtype in adults. They are classified as: well differentiated "lipoma like", myxoid plus round cells, pleomorphic and dedifferentiated. Their metastases are infrequent, but their recurrence is local. Its treatment is orchidectomy plus high ligation of the cord. Radiation therapy is only recommended in the presence of metastases or inadequate local excision. We present a case of a 71 year old patient handled at the Guatemalan social security institute who is diagnosed for left paratesticular liposarcoma pathology.
